Available from 1TB to 2TB the NAS-4010 is the perfect solution to deploying a network attatched file server for your business. The disk management is available in RAID 0 (stripping, no parity), JBOD, or individual disk. RAID 1 (mirroring) data protection, RAID 5 (stripping with parity), or JBOD. The network file protocol supports Microsoft Network (CIFS/SMB), Apple (AFP), UNIX(NFS), Novell Netware, File Transport Protocol (FTP) and Internet (Web Browser) that gives remote client the ease of access through web browser any where around the world.
Features as standard include ; dual gigabit connections, 4 hot swap drives, dual power supplies, both hot swap. A great new feature included with the NAS 4010 is the ability to directly connect either a CD or DVD writer via USB and burn disks directly, controlled from any browser !
Hardware Redundancy Protection: The NAS-4010 offers hardware redundancy protection over its components that can be plugged and unplugged while the system is in operation. This provides continuous data and system availability with no downtime.
Hot Swappable Hard Drives: The NAS-4010 features 4 hot-swappable hard drives to avoid downtime of business critical data availability and the possible loss of data. The hot swappable feature provides data protection in the event of an individual drive failure, the drive can be removed and a new drive can be plugged in without shutting down the system.
While the NAS-4010 unit operating in RAID 5 or 1 disk management, the bad drive can be removed and replaced with a new drive as a hot-spare. Our proprietary Operation System NASware OS will automatically configure the replacement drive and reconstruct the data from the lost drive and allow work to continue without interruption.
Hot Swappable and Redundant Power Supplies: To prevent failure of system components is a key ingredient of sustaining zero downtime in accessing vital business information. The design-in of redundant and hot-swappable power supplies makes the NAS-4010 continuing to operate in the event of a failure of power. The failed power supply can be replaced without interrupting service and provide high data availability at all time.
